Vacuum Coffee Saver (500 g)

Once exposed to the air, ground coffee quickly loses its flavour and aroma. The vacuum pump simply extracts the air from the Vacuum Coffee Saver creating a vacuum, so that flavour and aroma of the coffee will be kept in perfect condition. The dark colour of the container protects the coffee from the harmful effects of light.

Q: Is it important to frequently clean the container?

A: Yes,this has to be done to prevent powdered food entering the stopper and influencing the vacuum seal. The containers can be easily dismantled for cleaning purposes.
Q: The filter cap of the Food Saver lid does not come off. How can I remove it?


A:The filter cap can be easily removed with warm water due to the created temperature difference.
Q: When do I know the optimal vacuum is reached?

A: When resistance is felt with an upward stroke, the lid is vacuum sealed.
Q: I prefer using fresh grinded coffee beans. Are they vacuum proof?

A: Yes, fresh grinded coffee should stay under vacuum.
Q: Can I store roasted coffee beans under vacuum?

A: No, the natural fermentation process of the beans create a gas pressure that will cause the Coffee Saver to release the vacuum. This will also occur when storing yeast under vacuum.
